U.S. Scholarships for Indian Students

Have you ever dreamed about studying abroad in the U.S., but wasn't sure of how to afford it? Good news, you are not alone! Searching for funding to study abroad can be overwhelming, but we have some tips to guide you. Read below to learn about what your options are and which scholarships are available for students from India!

If you are among those who dream about studying abroad in the US, the infographic below will guide you about your options and scholarships so you can also join the large number of international students studying abroad.

In the United States, there are over 4,000 colleges and universities. This means that there are a variety of options for you to choose from. Studying abroad in the U.S. can be an affordable option if you spend some time doing your research. The U.S. and local Indian government agencies may also have special arrangements to help students study abroad so make sure to check with your local government. International organizations, such as the United Nations, also help to make higher education accessible to many people. 

Outside of these sources, remember that you can find more scholarships through the institution, foundation, or corporation that you are applying to. For your convenience, we’ve linked some of the scholarships we’ve found that Indian students would be eligible for.

  4. scholarship matters a lot for many students. But It is good experience studying abroad especially in USA. It is completely a different world and exciting experience. New friends with different environment and culture, opportunities, knowledge about world. Love it. The course timing is very less and we can do work for our own expenses. Great experience.

  7. My son is already enrolled in a undergraduate program, studying physics, he has received merit based scholarship from his university, still the cost is huge, can someone guide me if there is more possibility of getting financial aid? Thanks

  10. I hold indian passport but I was born and raised in dubai. Iam graduating from a british university. So my bachelor's degree wil be a british one. So in this case wil I be eligible for indian scholarships if I wish to apply in universities in US.
