[Photo of the Week] Rite of Spring

Do you have Spring Break in your country? In the United States, Spring Break at the college and university level usually occurs after mid-terms, as a present to all the students who have worked hard for half of a semester.

How excited are the U.S. college students about their one-week Spring Break? You may see them start planning their vacation even before the beginning of the semester. Top destinations are tropical resorts with pristine beaches, blue oceans, and wildest parties. What more can you ask for?

If you are not a party animal, maybe you can go on a road trip like me. I chose California Route 1, which is famous for its stunning natural scenes along the Pacific Coast and many choices for charming cities or towns we can stop by. I would admit that this was the most memorable trip I have ever been on, probably because I was the ONLY driver.

Winter vacation is often too cold to do many outdoor activities and friends leave campus or have different plans. I would say that Spring Break is the best time for you to hang out with your friends after a long winter. Get ready because you won't want to miss it!
