REMINDER: Jan. 23 Webinar on Tracking Applications and Applying for Visas

WES Student Advisor is proud to present our upcoming webinar, Tracking Your Application and Applying for a Visa, on Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. EST. Applying to college isn’t as simple as sending off an application and waiting for an acceptance letter to arrive in the mail. It’s important for prospective students – especially international ones – to follow up with admissions offices. But what are the correct steps? And what is the appropriate way to communicate with admissions staff? (Spoiler: Don’t call every day to ask questions that are answered on the school’s website!) Don’t fret. We have the answers.

We’ll also be tackling the visa application process: how to obtain an F-1, and how to find work opportunities once you arrive in the U.S. It can get complicated. But we’ve got you covered!
Admissions Expert
Ellen Blauw, Marquette University
This webinar will feature a great lineup of presenters, headlined by Ellen Blauw, the associate director of the Office of International Education at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ellen has more than 20 years of experience in international education, including work in admissions, advising, program administration, and teaching English as a second language in the U.S. and China.

Jie Ma, New York University
She will be joined by Jie Ma, a marketing master’s student at New York University. Jie studied finance, management, and accounting in China before realizing her dream of attending grad school in the U.S.

If you haven’t attended one of our webinars in the past, this is a great opportunity to see what it’s all about. Learn from admissions professionals and students like you who have successfully completed the application process. All of our webinars feature a Q&A session where you can address questions and concerns directly to our presenters. And did we mention they’re all FREE? You’ve got nothing to lose!

Register for our next webinar, Tracking Your Application and Applying for a Visa, on Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. EST.

We hope to see you there!

  1. Sometime it takes lot of times on visa approval, having no knowledge of visa process make it more difficult. So I always encourage people who keep sharing their experience on visa process. Thanks for sharing your great opinion which relate to visa process.
